Fenzine

That can’t be right, I’ve put on half a stone in 2 weeks, no way, something is definitely wrong with these scales.  What ever you do don’t do what I have just done and weigh yourself after a holiday. Partying - Eating, Party, Party, that’s what I’ve been doing these last few weeks with loads of good tunes out on the streets, I’ve some great dubs to tell you about.

Over the course of the year I have seen my old school garage sets turning into a mixture of UK Funking house mixed with UK old school which pretty much takes me back to the days of early pirate radio and club night’s such as Numb Nums and lords of the underground.

So what you find is a much more party atmosphere out there right now and I have to say I have been enjoying playing out.  Over this last year we have reviewed some big tracks that are hurting the dance floor on both a funky house level and a 4x4 garage tip. Also watch out for the special 10th Anniversary Ramsey & Fen EP with 5 volumes of unreleased and classic Ramsey & Fen tracks out On Bug Records & Vol. 2 about to hit the streets on 16th may 2005 on limited promo so be quick.

DJ FENs REVIEWS

“Move Wid Ya” DJ Fen & Dub Syndicate Feat. AndriAnna – Push Records

Well well well.  This is another hooky number from AndriAnna on Push Records the track that I have reviewed is a UK funky House mix from Dub Syndicate and yours truly.  If you heard “Push My Love” it’s the same vocalist and she has gone to town on this one.  Wicked chords and some lovely guitar and piano riffs together with a funky ass b line, what more could you want!  Check this one out. Also there is a UK garage mix.  Bad 4.5/5

"2 step feat Missy Elliot” Delinquents remix - White Label

This A wicked remix from the boys with what I would say has a soulful edge to it, so if you like your 4x4 bumpy this one’s for you.  Fired up, ready to go with a Van Helden bass style and some vocals demanding you put the needle on the record.  Quality 4x4 sing along style, but in saying that if you like it bumpy check out some of there on stuff.  Gowan guys. 4/5

Ramsey & Fen presents un-released & classic Anthems Vol.2 Bug Records.

This the second in the Dj exclusive limited run which features three massive classic dance floor mashers & one un-released remix from Zed Bias. As you know Ramsey & fen where not ones for quantity but for quality. So bear this in mind & hunt one down a.s.a.p, as there is four wicked tracks on this, which include “Desire” Into You & “Favourite part of me” the Zed Bias, remix which is fat. If that wasn’t enough there is a big surprise on there that I’ll keep secret, remember you have been warned. 4.5/5

“Ghetto Queen” Delinquent

Ghetto Queen is a massive 2 step track that has been doing the rounds on the underground scene. This has all the makings of a big tune classy 2 step beats a rough b-line & a wicked vocal from shad all the ingredients to a heavy tune. Keep the good work up guys.

DELINQUENT -- Da Latest!!

What's up people. Right now things are mad up in the Spoilt Rotten stables. Off the back of official Usher ("Caught Up") & Ciara ("1,2 Step") remixes we are launching the street release of our single "Ghetto Queen", featuring Shad. Check out the "Wideboys" mix as well, ruff! This track is to be performed all over the country in the coming months, starting with the Urban Music Festival at Earls Court.

As for forthcoming releases, we have various 4/4 instrumentals to hit the shops just after summer, as well as big new vocal tunes with JC and KAT. Look out for underground remixes of Donae'o - United, Wideboys - Naughty By Nature and J-Sweet - Goin Through. Lastly, the Delinquent birthday bash will happen in August. Venue not confirmed yet, but it will be heavily advertised!!

DELINQUENT REVIEWS

DELINQUENT Feat SHAD - "Ghetto Queen"(SPOILT ROTTEN)

Definitely one of the biggest vocal anthems on the underground at the moment, featuring the talented Shad. Delinquent prove that the nu-skool 2-Step & 4/4 flava is definitely the new sound for ravers.

GOLDEN PRODUCTIONS Feat SIMONE FLASH GORDON -- "Whatever U Want" (CHOCOLATE FACTORY)

Smooth, Soulful and well produced. It's just quality music. Nuff Said!!

DELINQUENT - "Circles" (SPOILT ROTTEN)

Still gets a wicked response whenever it gets played. Potential crossover track!

SOVEREIGN - "Carmen" (W RECORDS)

Bad boy instrumental. Dirty bass-line which works on the dancefloor.

JAM & FACE - "Mr Right" (SOLO)

Love this track. All lot of people don't realise that songs still exist in UKG.....and this is another quality one.
